Induction Checklist for Supervisors and New Staff

The following checklist is designed to cover general aspects of induction for new staff and assist in locating information and resources. Contacts and web addresses are provided throughout the checklist for further information.

Ideally this part of the induction and orientation should be completed in the first two weeks of employment.

The checklist is available as a word document so that supervisors and new staff may check off aspects of the orientation and induction as they are completed. Print a checklist  (word document).

I have been shown around the office, including where to find individual offices, filing cabinets, stationery, toilets and storage areas

I know how to contact the security office and arrangements for my office/building including after hours
