UTS has appointed sgfleet 
as the new provider offering staff the benefit of salary packaging a novated leased vehicle. Salary packaging is an arrangement that allows a staff member to forgo salary and receive benefits or goods instead thereby reducing their taxable income. Information on salary packaging is contained in the UTS salary packaging guidelines.
Salary packaging a novated lease is an arrangement between an employee, their employer and sgfleet which allows a driver to save money on their next personal vehicle and operate it in a tax and cost effective way.
This benefit is available to staff who are employed on a continuing or fixed-term basis for greater than twelve months.
A staff member wishing to enter into a salary packaging arrangement with UTS is required to sign a standard salary packaging agreement outlining the conditions. It is compulsory for a staff member to obtain financial advice if they wish to commence a salary packaged vehicle lease.
