The University provides three days Christmas – New Year leave on full pay without deduction from any leave account to all continuing and fixed-term staff. Christmas – New Year leave combined with the designated public holidays (Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years’ Day) results in the University’s closure over this period.
There is no need to apply for this leave. The dates of closure will be announced by October each year.
