Hours of work are outlined in the appropriate UTS Enterprise Agreements, individual employment contracts. They will vary depending on the mode of employment such as day or shift staff and category of employment - permanent, part-time, fixed term or casual.
The Hours of Work Model - Support Staff provides a useful, easy to read summary of the five different work models for support staff, contained in the Enterprise Agreement.
Permanent and fixed term academic staff should consult with supervisors to determine a workload allocation as described in the Enterprise Agreement for Academic Staff. Casual academic staff hours are outlined on the casual contract signed at the commencement of employment.
The normal pattern of attendance for SSG staff is outlined in the Senior Staff Agreement.
